The Annual Meeting Program, Planning, and Arrangements Committee, after checking several conference centers, college campuses, and churches, has selected Chiques Church in Mannheim, Pa. to host our 2024 Annual Meeting & Worship Conference. Chiques has a large sanctuary, Family Life Center, and more than adequate space for worship, exhibits, fellowship, youth and children’s ministries.
Chiques Church will host the event and provide home cooked meals and refreshment for those in attendance, at a very reasonable cost which will be included in the registration fee of $75.00 for delegates and non-delegates.
Ample hotel accommodations are available nearby in Lancaster County. The planning committee is working on arranging hotel discounts for attendees and the list of those hotels are posted on the CBC website. Air travel is possible from nearby airports in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Lancaster, BWI, and Dulles. Amtrac is also available to Lancaster if train travel is your preferred transport.
The date of Annual Meeting is July 18 – 20, 2024, with a Thursday evening worship service officially opening the 2024 Annual Meeting. However, there will be four breakout sessions offered on Thursday afternoon for those wishing to attend those events. There will be a number of exhibitors offering products and information. There will be a message brought by one of the missionaries we are working with in Guatemala and an update on all of the exciting things happening among the Covenant Brethren in Africa and Puerto Rico. As before, the youth will have a youth conference going on at the same time as the adult conference and like last year, they will provide some special insight.
NOW is the time to make your plans to attend the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Covenant Brethren Church. It will be a time of blessing, information, and challenge, with God receiving all the glory.
