- Praise the Lord God Almighty who has the power to save us from our sin and protect us from the evil one.
- Thank God for equipping us with His powerful weapon against temptation and attacks from the evil one – The Word of God which is “alive and active and sharper than any double-edge sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of our hearts.” (Hebrews 4:12)
- Pray for “God’s power to be made perfect in our weakness” (1 Corinthians 12) by guarding our hearts from temptation and evil and helping us to stand strong in faith and obedience to our Heavenly Father as we seek to do His perfect will.
