“for God is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order. As in all the churches of the saints,” 1 Corinthians 14:33 (Amplified Bible).
We are experiencing steady growth in our young denomination, Covenant Brethren Church. As we learn to manage that growth, we turn to God’s Word and seek His guidance. The advice of Moses’ Father-in-law, Jethro, as he gave to Moses, has become our organization model and helps us as we have developed regions within the Covenant Brethren Church. (Exodus 18:17-23). As our first region, the Southern Region has benefited from this method.
I brought this organizational model to the Covenant Brethren Churches in East Africa. In a recent meeting with the Pastors and some Board members there, we worked together to organize the Churches.
As we prayed, we confirmed what God is doing in raising Executive Leadership in East Africa. The Democratic Republic of Congo is one Region that is well organized. Rwanda and Tanzania will be two more official Regions soon. Burundi is still coming together but is well on its way to becoming our fourth Region in East Africa. What all four of these groups have in common and is leading to effective ministry, is four strong, godly executive leaders. Each is working to care for their Region much like a Pastor cares for the local congregation. We thank God for raising up Executive Leadership.

May God continue to bless our efforts for His glory.
