The Beaver Creek Church, a member Church of the Covenant Brethren Church Denomination, located in Floyd, Virginia, is seeking a Full-Time Pastor. The Church has a membership of two hundred and thirty and is in a rural part of the county.
The potential Pastor must accept the Covenant Brethren Church Statement of Faith. The Pastor must deliver Biblical based sermons that teach God’s word and challenge the congregation to grow in their faith in Christ. The Church is seeking a compassionate spiritual leader who can work well with the Churches’ Leadership, with Regional Leadership, and Denominational Leadership.
The congregation has several outreach projects with the goal of showing the love of Jesus to the community. The congregation is a welcoming and positive Christian influence in the community and is committed to continue to be.
The congregation is seeking a pastor who preaches the Word of God and embodies its truths in their daily walk. A Spiritual Leader of integrity and humility with an active prayer life. The potential Pastor will support membership through pastoral care, visitation, and other compassionate ministries throughout the week. They seek someone who possesses both a clear vision for their future and the leadership skills necessary to guide them there.
