The Youth Fellowship Committee is challenging each person who plans to attend the conference to bring an item to be packed into an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. At the conference the youth will take the items and pack the shoeboxes and see that they get to the nearest OCC drop off site. Your help is needed to purchase and bring the items for this activity. We are also asking that you help with the cost of processing the boxes. An offering basket will be placed at the shoebox item collection area to cover the $10 per box needed to cover the cost of processing and sending the boxes to their final destination. If the offering exceeds the need of $10 per box, the extra will be put towards “The Greatest Journey”, OCC’s discipleship program for children receiving boxes. This is not to replace the food drive we are doing at the conference to bless the Fairmont community but in addition to it. To be a blessing both at home and abroad. We realize this information is late getting out but will you please help. Bring a shoebox item with you and drop in our Operation Christmas Child collection area. Join the youth in sending a blessing to a child that never dreamed they would get such a gift from someone they have never met, who cares about them in Jesus name.
