Weekly Prayer Point

“Praise the Lord!  Praise the Lord, O my soul!  2 While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.”  Psalm 146:1– 2  (NKJV). Heavenly Father we are thankful for Your goodness, love, favor, grace, mercy, promises, faithfulness, glory, hope, and so much more!  O Lord may Your presence accompany us in every moment of every day.  Grant us the strength to face challenges and the humility to accept Your goodness with gratitude, joy, a sense of unworthiness, and much praise!  “From the rising of the sun to its going down,” may our hearts shout, “Holy is the LORD!” Please pray for the following congregations and pastors: Red Creek Bethel Congregation in Davis, WV and Pastor John Moyers Ridge Congregation in Shippensburg, PA and Pastor Leon Davis CBC Prayer Committee

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor the arrow that flieth by day; nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.” Psalm 91:5-6 (NKJ). Pray for those individuals who are working to spread the word of God. When they had seen Him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this Child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.” Luke 2:17 NIV The Sunday before Christmas (12/22), Christmas Eve (12/24), and Christmas Day (12/25).  Many of our congregations have special services & programs this week.  And many people who are not close to the Lord may pass through our doors.  This season is often a very “open door” time for the unchurched.  Sometimes we can look down on these so-called “Easter & Christmas” attendees.  No!  Let us pray with thanksgiving for this opportunity to share Jesus!  Pray that you may be a “shepherd-like” witness to proclaim Jesus to every dear one that the Lord brings you in contact with!  Share the amazement!
