The inquiries have not stopped and churches and pastors continue to join the Covenant Brethren Church denomination to be a part of something that chooses God’s Word as our authority and has put in place a system of accountability. Over the last couple of months several churches have invited CBC representatives to come and explain the organization and positions of the CBC. As a result, four pastors and another church have joined the Covenant Family. At the writing of this article, 2 more churches are preparing to vote to join CBC in the next few weeks. We will report on them after their vote.
Here pastor Bradley Bennett receives his ordination papers from Pastor Dan Rhodes as supporters gather around him to pray for and welcome him into the CBC Family.
At the same Annual meeting Roy McVey was given his ordination credentials and his church, the Collinsville Covenant Brethren Church was added to the roster of CBC churches.
Grover led in the covenant agreement and Larry Dentler led in a prayer of blessing over the pastor and church.
Brian Simmons received prayer by leaders of region 3 as he received his credentials.
Jim Brauns of Roxbury received his license.
