Friday October 2nd Hurricane Isaias made landfall in Southern Alabama and the Western Panhandle of Florida. Samaritan’s Purse is active in the area providing help for the citizens affected by the storm. Volunteer opportunities are now available in these areas Through October 30th in Alabama and November 6th in Florida. The work being completed by volunteers include clean up, tree work and Roof tarping. Please visit the Samaritan’s Purse website for more information and to register to volunteer.
If you are not able to volunteer please pray for the areas and people affected by the storm. Also for the volunteers and Samaritan’s Purse employees working and overseeing the work in the area.
Donations can be made through the Covenant Brethren Church or online directly to Samaritan’s Purse;
