The Dominican Republic will be the next location for a CBC youth mission trip! The dates for the trip are June 12-19, 2027. We are still working out the details for exactly what we will be doing on this trip and are in regular conversation with Bro Gustavo Lindi, the CBC Regional Elder for that region. We will make that information available as soon as we have that all figured out, but for now we need to assess interest.
If you are anywhere between 9th grade through your first year of college, we would love to have you join us! We will limit the size of the group to 30 individuals, so first come-first served. We estimate the cost of the trip will be $1,300 per person, but don’t let that number scare you, for God always has a means of supplying the funds needed for everyone to make the trip. You will need a passport for this trip so if you don’t already have one and you plan to go, you should start on that right away.
We would be glad to have you go along with us. If you speak Spanish, so much the better, but it is not required. Once I receive your information, you will receive general information about CBC mission trips along with an application that you will need to fill out and return.
This is a trip to serve. We are not taking you on a vacation or doing this so you can have “an experience.” Each participant needs to make sure their heart is in the right place. You will be expected to work hard and put the needs of others ahead of your own. If you are not prepared to do that, you should pass on this trip.
With this understanding, I hope you can join us! I have found that even though I go with the intention of being a blessing to others, I always receive a blessing myself. I’m sure you will too!
