Today we were alerted that Samaritan’s Purse is looking for volunteers to assist homeowners affected by recent tornadoes in Louisiana. On Wednesday morning, April 10, 2024, a severe storm system traveled across the Gulf Coast and Southeast producing torrential rains, flooding, and other storm damage. An EF-1 tornado caused significant damage to homes and properties in Slidell.

As noted below, the work projects will begin immediately and will be over quickly. This is a great opportunity for those who would be able to serve as Day Volunteers. Please note the telephone number below that is available for this area.

Currently scheduling volunteers beginning Saturday, April 13 through Saturday, April 27, 2024.
