During the month of April the chilly winds of winter fade and the long nights give way to longer days. It is also a time when we begin to think of and make preparations for planting. There is a process that is followed that takes us from tilling the soil to harvest.
The ground has been turned — the seed has been planted. Now the need to provide the nutrients (fertilizer) for growth.
When the seed of God’s word is sown it holds the potential for spiritual growth. Like the seed we plant in our gardens, it must be nurtured and cared for.
“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (II Corinthians 9:11 NKJV).
Though we generously spread God’s Word by personal witness, faithfulness in all things, and in trusting God to multiply our efforts. Know that growth happens in His timing!
