The cold of winter is gone, and the color and glow of spring have come. The Bible has much to tell us about seasons and time. As individuals, congregations, and a young denomination, may the Holy Spirit remind us that God is never early nor late.
Our anxiousness will not accelerate God’s time. Shall we trust the seasons of life to the Creator of time? Waiting is not evidence of God’s absence, but God’s process of conforming and preparing us for what lies ahead.
“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” Psalm 27:14 ( NKJV). “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly” Romans 5:6 (NKJV).
Heavenly Father, as we are bound and limited by time until that glorious moment we step out of time into eternity, may we be faithful in trusting You for Your perfect time.
