Proverbs 14:34 – “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.”
Jeremiah 29:7 –“And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”
1 Timothy 2:1-2 – “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”
Pray for the salvation of our national, state, and local leaders. Pray that our nation will turn to Jesus Christ in repentance and hope. Pray that the church will be faithful in proclaiming the truth and living godly lives.
