In every church family and every family, our prayer lists are long with those who are suffering from physical and emotional problems.  In a fallen world, we deal with illness and injury.  As Christians, we are not immune.  Pray for persons and families you know who are walking this journey.  Pray for those sick and hospitalized.  Pray for doctors and medical staff.  Give thanks for the biblical ordinance of Anointing as outlined in James 5:13-16 and pray for our ministers and deacons as they share this special gift with the hurting.  The Lord is present.  The Lord still heals.  “I am the Lord who heals you.” Exodus 15:26 (NIV). Your prayers for the sick make a difference!  “When a believing person prays, great things happen.”  James 5:16 (NCV)
