The Sunday before Christmas (12/22), Christmas Eve (12/24), and Christmas Day (12/25). Many of our congregations have special services & programs this week. And many people who are not close to the Lord may pass through our doors. This season is often a very “open door” time for the unchurched. Sometimes we can look down on these so-called “Easter & Christmas” attendees. No! Let us pray with thanksgiving for this opportunity to share Jesus! Pray that you may be a “shepherd-like” witness to proclaim Jesus to every dear one that the Lord brings you in contact with! Share the amazement!
Sing: “Flocks were sleeping; shepherds keeping vigil till the morning new. Saw the glory, heard the story, tidings of a Gospel true. Thus rejoicing, free from sorrow, praises voicing, greet the morrow: Christ the Babe was born for you! Christ the Babe was born for you!”
