Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Thank God for the privilege of living in the United States of America and for the freedoms and abundant blessings we enjoy. Pray for God to raise up godly leaders and for Him to breathe revival all across our land. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and of all Israel. Pray for peace throughout the Middle East and the entire world. During the month of April the chilly winds of winter fade and the long nights give way to longer days. It is also a time when we begin to think of and make preparations for planting. There is a process that is followed that takes us from tilling the soil to harvest. The ground has been turned --- the seed has been planted --- and appropriate fertilizer has been applied --- our seed, now plants growing and prayerfully thriving.  WE patiently await the harvest.  Of course, the harvest, however plentiful itself is not our responsibility—only the sowing.  Our task is to sow the Spirit’s seed.  It is always God who produces the harvest. “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.  37 For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’  38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; [...]
