Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Covenant Brethren Church Annual Meeting & Worship Conference which will be held July 16–18 at the Pasquerilla Conference Center in Johnstown, PA. This is a time for the Covenant Brethren Church to gather to worship and pray and seek the Lord’s leading while endeavoring to build one another up in faith. A minimum of essential business will also be conducted. The registration fee this year is $100 for each delegate and $75 for all others who attend. These fees help offset rising expenses. Hotel reservations must be made by June 16, 2026, using the link above. Online conference registration will close on July 3, 2026, but you may still register on site during the conference.
This year’s conference theme is “Go…Make…Baptize” and reminds us of the work Jesus directed us to do in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Our time together begins Thursday afternoon at 1:00 pm with Pre-Conference Sessions. These four sessions provide opportunities to reflect and engage on important topics in church life. All attendees are welcome and encouraged to participate in these sessions as we prepare our hearts for worship and fellowship.
On Thursday evening, we are especially excited to welcome Pastor Lewis from Africa. Pastor Lewis is the first pastor CBC worked with overseas. This dedicated man serves God daily and has put himself in harm’s way many times to complete the necessary work God called him to do.
Friday evening’s message will be brought to us by Brother John Swonger, pastor of Knob Creek Covenant Brethren Church and a member of the CBC Executive Board. Bro John brings a heart for sound teaching and spiritual encouragement and will lead us in reflection and worship as we continue seeking God together.
We are also excited to once again offer a CBC Youth Conference alongside the Annual Meeting & Worship Conference! This is a special opportunity for youth to dig into God’s Word, grow in their faith, and build meaningful friendships with other young believers. Throughout the weekend, youth will participate in Bible study, worship, and Christ-centered activities designed to encourage and challenge them in their walk with Jesus.
To help in your planning, we have worked with a local caterer who will provide a package of 4 meals for $56. These include dinner on Thursday, breakfasts for Friday and Saturday, and lunch on Friday. Please pay for this plan when you register for the Conference. On Friday evening, the Brethren Revival Fellowship (BRF) will host a dinner for conference participants. Seating is limited, so be sure to pick up your ticket at the BRF booth. There is no charge, but a love gift is appreciated to support the meal.
Please join us in praying for this gathering. Our hope is that it will be a time of refreshment and encouragement and an opportunity to worship together, grow in the Word, and be strengthened in our faith. We are eager to see how the Lord will work among us this July in Johnstown!
