Weekly Prayer Point

Pray for God to supply pastors for all CBC Churches who are in need of pastoral leadership. Please pray for the following congregations and pastors: One in Christ Congregation in Willis, VA and Pastor Gregory Howell Petersburg Memorial Congregation in Petersburg, WV seeking pastoral leadership CBC Prayer Committee

Pray for all our CBC Youth Camps that will be operating this summer. Pray for God to be glorified and for Him to raise up leaders as well as campers and that these camps will bear much good fruit for His Kingdom in terms of salvation, sanctification, edification, righteousness, holiness, and revival. Pray for the Youth and Adults who are leaving on the CBC Youth Mission Trip to Guatemala on Friday. Pray for their physical and personal safety and for much good fruit to be produced on this trip. Pray that their own faith will be strengthened and that they will be a good witness to all with whom they come in contact. Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.” Pray for Israel and all the Jewish people as the nation turns 75 years old this month. The Apostle Paul had a burden for his Jewish brothers and sisters to know Jesus as the Messiah. Let’s continue his prayers for that today and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Israel’s capital. We Are Not Alone - Read John 14:15-18 Here we have the promise of Christ; though He has ascended to the Father He has sent the Holy Spirit to teach, empower, to be with us and in us! Every morning as we awaken to the dawning of a new day let us acknowledge our Lord as the One that orders our steps. Pray for strength as we are Christ’s witnesses in the world. In these days may we pray that the Body of Christ experience the presence, peace, comfort and assurance that only Christ can give.
