Weekly Prayer Point

Proverbs 14:34 – “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.” Jeremiah 29:7 –“And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 – “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” Pray for the salvation of our national, state, and local leaders. Pray that our nation will turn to Jesus Christ in repentance and hope. Pray that the church will be faithful in proclaiming the truth and living godly lives. Pray for God to supply pastors for all CBC Churches who are in need of pastoral leadership. Pray for all our CBC Youth Camps that will be operating this summer. Pray for God to be glorified and for Him to raise up leaders as well as campers and that these camps will bear much good fruit for His Kingdom in terms of salvation, sanctification, edification, righteousness, holiness, and revival. Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.” Pray for Israel and all the Jewish people as the nation turns 75 years old this month. The Apostle Paul had a burden for his Jewish brothers and sisters to know Jesus as the Messiah. Let’s continue his prayers for that today and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Israel’s capital. We Are Not Alone - Read John 14:15-18 Here we have the promise of Christ; though He has ascended to the Father He has sent the Holy Spirit to teach, empower, to be with us and in us! Every morning as we awaken to the dawning of a new day let us acknowledge our Lord as the One that orders our steps. Pray for strength as we are Christ’s witnesses in the world. In these days may we pray that the Body of Christ experience the presence, peace, comfort and assurance that only Christ can give.
