Weekly Prayer Points

Our world is full of things that change. We see this as we transition from one season to the next, like summer to fall. The tree loses its leaves, the rain becomes snow, and the light of the sun becomes less and less. Let God’s eternal Word encourage us. "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever" Isaiah 40:8 (NKJV). Heavenly Father, in this world of change, You never change; You are the light of this world and the next. You are my light. Your judgments are eternal. Your love remains unchanged from the day You gave to this undeserving world "Your only begotten Son" to the day we repented and called "Father, forgive me for I have sinned." In times of need, You have supplied; Your goodness has been delivered through many "showers of blessings." Your mercy and grace are beyond any measure. Thank You, Lord, for giving to us Life Everlasting." In Jesus name, Amen! John 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." Heavenly Father, we desire for our congregations, neighbors, friends, and families to find joy, peace, purpose, abundant life, and everlasting life through Jesus Christ! Heavenly Father may our coming together always be centered around You. Lord may our unity, worship, preaching, and altar call be all about You. Begun in 1780 in England and sometimes dismissed, this vital program arm of the Church continues to touch and change lives with the Gospel of Christ. The majority of Sunday School teachers are volunteers who dedicate hours each week to studying God’s Word and preparing to teach children, youth, and adults the great truths of the Bible. For some children, this Sunday School hour is the only Bible instruction they receive. Pray for our dedicated core of Sunday School teachers and all their students, young and old. Open hearts, open minds, changed lives!
